About Us

 

Hi there! My name is Cindy and I started baking in 2015, eventually starting my business in 2017 with a view to making celebration cakes.  Lots and lots (and lots) of cakes later, and as much as I'm still kind of partial to making a pretty cake (now and again), I realised that what I really wanted to do was create bakes that are just too good to resist, special occasion or not. After realising that a lot of people really liked what I was doing, and longing to make a full time business out of it, I decided to take the plunge and leave my legal career behind. 

We specialise in brownies, blondies, traybakes and cookies (with many more things to come!) and can offer treats for any occasion whether birthdays, thank you gifts, or just a midweek or weekend treat.  We use the best Belgian chocolate and quality ingredients in all our bakes so that our products are the best that they can be, and if you've seen our portion sizes, you'll know that there's no scrimping on toppings or fillings! 

We are fully insured and registered with our previous premises achieving a 5* food hygiene rating.  We are currently awaiting our food hygiene inspection at the new shop!

  

Our shop is at 24 Hawksbury Drive, Penwortham, Preston PR1 9EJ.  We are open Thursday to Saturday 10am - 4pm (or sell out) and you can also find us at local markets and events.  If you live further afield and cant get to us, you can order online for nationwide courier delivery!

Yes - if you are a cafe or food establishment and would be interested in stocking our treats in and around either of our locations, we’d be really interested to speak to you! We are confident your customers will love our CBK products and it will keep them coming back for more, why not give us a try - please do get in touch, we can organise a sample for you to try.

 

Similarly if you are a business and would like to order treats for your staff, clients or corporate events then please do not hesitate to get in touch.
 

Please ask us about any allergies prior to ordering.  Unfortunately, we cannot currently prepare allergen free bakes.  All our bakes are made in a kitchen that handles gluten, dairy and nuts (including peanuts) and therefore are not suitable for anyone with a severe allergy.
